Hello, my name is Bertha, and I am training as an integrative counsellor. This means I tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs, drawing from various therapeutic models to help you navigate challenges and uncover meaningful solutions.
At the heart of my practice is person-centred counselling, ensuring that you feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout your therapeutic journey. Our work together will always move at your pace, creating a safe and supportive space for exploration and growth.
I offer a compassionate, impartial, and confidential environment where you can reflect on your thoughts, emotions, and past experiences. Through this process, my aim is to support you in gaining self-awareness, embracing more of who you are, and discovering your inner strengths.
I am deeply committed to client-led, culturally sensitive counselling, helping you build resilience, confidence, and a sense of self-worth as you move forward.
As a counsellor, I bring a warm, empathetic, and joyful presence to my work. Therapy has been an important part of my own journey—sometimes challenging, but always rewarding—and it has helped me feel more settled in my own skin.
Outside of counselling, you’ll often find me listening to Dad’s Army on the radio, swimming, checking off activities on my bucket list, watching cartoons, or spending time with my church community.
