Start your healing in a space that feels safe.

Free, no-pressure conversation with a real counsellor to help you take the first step.

We aim to be a resource without judgement or stigma as you seek healing and hope by engaging your past and present and empowering you to move into healthier relationships in your family, culture and community.

Why Start With Ember?

We know how hard it can be to open up. That’s why your first step with Ember isn’t a commitment, it’s a conversation. No pressure, no expectations, just a place to begin.

You’ll talk to a real counsellor who’s here to listen, not sell you something. You don’t have to figure everything out today. You just have to show up, and we’ll walk with you from there.

Therapeutic Approaches

All of our counsellors hold advanced degrees in Counselling or Psychology from accredited universities.

Additionally, our counsellors undertake continuous professional development (CPD) as required by counselling associations-

British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and Association of Christian Counselling (ACC).

Get Started

To start with a counsellor, please book a free 10 minute conversation with our New Client Coordinator, Thea McIntosh. Once reserved, we will email you a Client Detail Form to fill out. This confidential form helps us understand your context and expectations for counselling.

Once you’ve completed these two steps, we aim to match you with a counsellor within seven days.
