M.E. (pronounced “Emmy”) desires to provide a safe space to care for those broken places and seek healing. She works integratively, letting each client’s needs determine her approach, combining trauma-informed practices and attachment theories most often in her work. In practice, this means she works with clients to consider their present challenges in the context of their past narrative and let their imagination help in the work of healing.

Outside of counselling, M.E. enjoys the blessings of being in a multi-cultural marriage (especially all the good food!). She loves a good cup of coffee and a walk in the park with her husband and two little British-Asian-American girls.
